You are one of those persons who adore technology and all of the great things it brings. And so, you always want the best in what the world offers you. You are willing to pay the right price for a good product or service. You believe that there are ways by which you can get the best things in life as long as you know where and how to look for them.

If the above-mentioned are true, then it is highly probable that you want to get the best possible VoIP phone available on the market. You value the fact that Voice over Internet Protocol technology helps you get connected to loved ones near and far without the attached high expenses. If you are after a great VoIP phone that can make all your calling experience topnotch, then consider VoIP phone reviews as crucial tools to your phone shopping plans.

Take note of the following pointers when in search for the best phone and service:

1. Reading Online Product Reviews

One way to get interesting VoIP phone reviews is by reading online product reviews. There are product review websites which focus on the latest gadgets and technologies. Since VoIP technology is hot topic, you are sure to find various reviews on the different phone models, brands, and services. Take note of all the pros and cons when reading reviews and of course, it helps to choose sites which are unbiased.

2. Reading Blogs

You can also read blogs to get informal yet very valuable information about VoIP phones and services. Bloggers are known to be very vocal about their opinion especially when it comes to products and services that they have personally tried. Reading blog entries also give you more realistic information that are based on a user’s point of view so it would not be difficult to relate.

3. Reading Online Forums

Another method to get useful and valuable information about different kinds of products and gadgets is to access forums and other online communities. These forums and online communities are often useful in providing both positive and negative feedback on certain products and services. Beware, though, as you need to discern which ones are honest and which ones are pushed by advertisers.

Immersing yourself in the rich bed of information provided by online resources is wise. You get to have valuable first hand information that can also serve as both formal and informal product reviews. When searching for a VoIP phone, it would be wise to first get your dose of VoIP handset and service reviews so you can have value for your money. With such reviews, you can be led to the best products that can last you for years and on a product that meets your expectations.

Even if you are willing to pay for a high price for the coolest handset, it would still be the best move to first get a taste of real and honest VoIP phone reviews so you will not have to regret your purchase in the end. You can get a product that can connect you to loved ones clearly and economically.

By: Derrick Richardson

The word ‘developing’ often shows greater promise than ‘developed’. For, the later has reached a satiation, while the former has a late of scope to explore. In keeping with this, India is showing a lot of promise to the world. In fact, it is not uncommon that a westerner is coming to India to find a suitable work. Since the market of this second most populous country is growing fast, the businesses are sensing India as a potential market.

Naturally, you may soon find yourself or your friend in India. This is why it is important to learn the pros and cons of the international calls to India. Otherwise, it may be a bit complicating to make affordable calls back home.

Information Technology in India

Like the rest of the world, India too has witnessed a boom in the sector of Information Technology. Still, the availability of high quality communication has remained a great problem. So, the first step to find out the best solution, you should remember that you need to give a bit of effort.

The complexity of communication in India

The scene is more complicated in India since new companies are coming in every day. Naturally, the abundance of alternatives will make the choice difficult for you. To make the situation even more difficult is the appearance of the plans that they offer. They may seem impressive in the initial stage. But, in the long run, they may turn out quite opposite.

VoIP technology: the right choice

However, the pleasant relief from all the confusion seems to be the Voice of Internet Protocol or VoIP. This is a path breaking evolution of the communication technology. Thanks to it, people can now have an alternative for the mobile and telephone bills that are soaring high constantly.

So, if you are looking for cheap calls to India, VoIP is the right choice. In fact, the technology will enable you to call from India to the other parts of the world as well. One of the greatest advantages with the VoIP is that you don’t have to think about the different plans and to find out the best of the lot. Also, you don’t have to make a big investment to avail this service. Of course, you have to invest once and there is no recurring charge.

The things that you need to enable the VoIP service is a computer and the broadband internet connection. Along with it, you need to have the VoIP software, a headset and a microphone. These things will make sure that you can make international calls in really reasonable price.

VoIP offers plenty of other advantages as well; you don’t have to stand in the long queue to pay the bills. Along with it, it offers the highest level of quality in terms of connectivity. Again, there are no hassles of roaming as well. So, no matter where you go, you don’t have to bother about the call charges.

Since you are no longer worried about the call charges, there is no meter running over head, you talk freely. Naturally, the quality of communication manifold as well.

By: Erick John

VOIP is short for Voice Over Internet Protocol, what that means is that your phone calls will be made through an internet connection, rather than through standard telephone land lines. Though it’s relatively new, many people have decided to switch over to VOIP phone service for a number of reasons.

One of the biggest advantages of VOIP is that no matter where you are, if you can connect to the internet, you can make and receive phone calls. In many cases, service providers will offer a package that allows local calling from anywhere in the world. What this means is that if you call any phone number in your local home phone area, even if you are across the world, it will be charged as a local call. This is the same if anyone in your local home area calls your number, even if you’re somewhere else, it’s a local call.

Another advantage of VOIP is that most providers include extra features, such as caller ID, call forwarding, 3 way calling and auto redial. These features can be costly with standard phone service. VOIP also works with many instant messaging programs like MSN, Google Talk and Skype. It can also be used for file sharing, video conferencing, voice conferencing and other internet based applications.

VOIP providers often offer unlimited calls to and from your phone number, even if you’re calling overseas, which can save you a great deal of money every year. For those who call distant relatives often, VOIP is definitely the way to go.

The biggest disadvantage is that, if you lose your internet connection, your phone will not work. Also, if you have a slow connection or any interference, you can get an echo or dropped calls. VOIP phones need electricity as well, so if your power goes out, so will your phone.

VOIP service is not the most secure way to communicate, because they are sent over the internet, it is possible for someone with the right know how, to listen in on your calls. Another problem is with caller ID, VOIP phones will not show up on the call ID of people you call.

So VOIP might not be something you want to rely on completely, but teamed with something like a prepaid cell phone, it can definitely save you some money on your phone bill.

By: Joanne Greco
